Hosting Change
I changed my hosting back to Lunarpages, which is what I was using two years ago before I switched to TextDrive. I made the first switch because TextDrive supported Ruby on Rails, which I wanted to try. Well, it turned out that setting up Rails was more trouble than I thought, and I never got around to it. In the meantime, TextDrive got bought out by Joyent, and became a higher-end, more expensive service that I didn’t really need. So, I switched back to Lunarpages, which still managed my domain and was familiar to me.
As you can see, I transfered all of my posts over from the old site, but I didn’t get the comments and some other configuration information. The version of WordPress I had been using did not seem to have a way to export, except for the RSS feed. I now realize that I should have upgraded to the latest WordPress software on the old site, and used the Export facility in that version.
So, my apologies to those who left comments before. Please feel free to comment again, and I will try to do a better job at preserving them.
